	Sign-In  Register            Area XI AREA OFFICERS Each May Area officers are elected through a multi-phase process.  Area Officers attend State Leadership Conference and go through several days of training provided by Texas FFA State Officers and State Staff and multiple topics that range from leadership development to communication to how to facilitate a workshop. Area Officer host Area Leadership Conference for the District officers to attend and prepare to host their own leadership camp.   Area Officers also coordinate the delegates at Texas FFA convention as well as Area Greenhand Camp, Area LDE Award Ceremony, and the Elite Conference in January.  Area Officers often are asked to attend events such as district and chapter events across the Area.
