Jr. FFA FAQ:

Who can be Jr. FFA members? To be eligible for membership in Jr. FFA, students must attend Schulenburg Elementary, Schulenburg Jr. High or St. Rose and be in at least the 3rd grade and 8 years old. 

How do I join? To be a Jr. FFA member, just fill out the membership forms found below, and submit your $15.00 membership dues to one of the FFA Advisors (Mr. Lux, Ms. Hartman, Ms. Gallegos) by October 15th. 

Do I have to show an animal if I am in Jr. FFA? Schulenburg Jr. FFA members are not required to show an animal at our local show or at any major livestock show, however, each member of the Jr. FFA and the FFA are encouraged to participate in the experience of raising a show animal. 

What activities are there for Jr. FFA members? Each month during the school year, on the second Monday, there is an FFA and Jr. FFA meeting. The location is sent out in an email and posted on social media. FFA and Jr. FFA members are also asked help the FFA raise funds to support our activities by working  the Football concession stands, selling items in our Fall Fundraiser and participating in our BBQ Chicken Dinner in the Spring.
